  • Active Spreadsheet Content: The add-on requires access to the content of your currently open and active Google Sheet to perform its core function of masking data. 2. How We Use Your Data

Your data is used exclusively for the following purposes:

  • To enable the core functionality of the MaskMySheet add-on, which involves reading and modifying the content of your active spreadsheet.
  • To provide a personalized user experience.
  • To communicate with you about important updates or support-related matters.

We do not and will not sell, rent, or trade your personal information with any third parties.

3. How We Protect Your Data

We are committed to protecting your data. We implement the following security measures:

  • All data processing on your spreadsheet content is performed locally in your browser. Your sheet data is never sent to or stored on our servers.
  • We use industry-standard encryption (HTTPS) for all data transmitted between the add-on and Google's servers.
  • Access to your profile information and email is restricted to our application's backend for authentication purposes only.

4. Data Deletion

We do not store your spreadsheet data. Your profile information and email are used for authentication and are not stored in a separate database by us.

You can revoke our access to your data at any time by visiting your Google Account's security settings:

  1. Go to the Google Account permissions page.
  2. Find "MaskMySheet" in the list of third-party apps with account access.
  3. Click on the app and select "Remove Access".

Revoking access will prevent the add-on from accessing your data in the future. Since we do not store your data, this action effectively deletes any connection between your account and our service.

5. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not share, transfer, or disclose Google user data to any third party, except as required by applicable law. Our application operates entirely within Google Sheets and does not send Google user data to external servers or services.
